I do not plan to make them this long in the future but these are pivotal and exciting times for me and for us all, and I guess I have a lot to say right now. I hope you will take the time to read through. The table of contents can be useful for you to skip down to what might be of particular interest to you. The whole newsletter weaves thematically and by reading the whole letter you will know what I mean. I am open to comments and feedback, so feel free. This does not mean I will personally answer at any length but I do welcome it. September is here and I am on the go. I love June, July and August for all the warm weather and festivals and camping and so on, yet the cool nights, warm days, blue skies and calmer pace of September is most welcome. I don’t miss the mosquitoes neither not to mention the forest fires raging all around us and the ash in the air and the helicopters endlessly creating noise pollution. I do salute those fire fighters though and accept the need for the helicopters etcetera. They are still active too because the forests are still very dry. In last month’s newsletter I offered a quick list for being prepared in case of the need to evacuate due to fire. Perhaps it is still worth reviewing…. (Previous Newsletters are posted on my site in UPDATES) Next week I go to Calgary with Shari. She is taking a Psych-K workshop which is about accessing limiting core beliefs and clearing the blocks and creating balance at subconscious levels by way of muscle testing, or Kinesiology. I will be doing private readings so if you know of anyone who you think might be interested or may be in need of some clarity, insight, guidance, inspiration etcetera, please let them know I will be visiting Calgary, Golden Cranbrook, and Creston BC in particular. In the next section, Current Events, I outline my itinerary. In October I will be visiting the west coast: Sunshine Coast, Vancouver and Saltspring Island in particular and the same message applies. 3) Current Events Although it is still technically summer, September is often interpreted as fall. With students headed back to school and the air getting cooler by the day, we must accept this as a feature of what summer is all about. Autumn Equinox occurs on Sunday September 23rd this year. The exact official moment is when the Sun ingresses in Libra which is at 2:52 am PDT on the 23rd. So, although it feels like autumn, it is not quite yet. The really big news this month is the fact that Saturn is now in Virgo where it will remain until August 2010, after it enters Libra in October of 2009 then turns Retrograde in January 2010 and moves back into Virgo in April where it will remain until August. The larger far planets often enter a new sign then retrograde out again. It all has to do with the movements of those planets and the Earth orbiting the Sun. Of course, planets do not move backward in the orbit, according to our left brain factual mind. However, according to our right brain experiential mind, it appears that the Sun along with all the planets revolve around the Earth and so planets appear to go retrograde. What is significant about this is that a retrograde planet has deep psychological implications, especially when in your birth chart and these are demonstrable especially on a person to person basis. Scroll down to Musings of an Astrologer to read more about this telling tale. So Saturn in Virgo will contribute to a major shift in our collective attitude. Since Virgo is the sign of ecology, you might imagine what it will include. It may take a while before we really see the signs of change. Especially when Pluto enters Capricorn in late January 2008, we will gain some clear glimpses of what is to come. Since 2008 is the first official 1 year of the new millennium, we are bound to see some very noticeable initiatory actions. I have written at some length about the New Millennium in the past. The quick on it is that it is a thousand year period with the number 2 in front of it. 1 in masculine and 2 is feminine. Consequently, feminine energy is stirring and awakening and coming in to counter balance the excesses of 1. Let us hope that the corrupting influences of the young souls with all their ambition and determination to “win” at all costs do not catch on to the numerological impact of a date upon our mind and decide to start a new calendar at 1 again, although I would not put it past some little minds with big ambitions. Pluto transforms what ever it touches. For example, in 1995 Pluto entered Sagittarius, the sign of organized religion. Notice how much things have changed in that respect. We no longer are harassed by the bigotry of certain groups, you know which ones I am referring to, trying to convince everyone that their conditioned ‘beliefs’ which are referred to as ‘faith’ are imposed upon everyone else. Worship as you will and share your excitement and experience and so on, but keep it to choice and please do not insult everyone about what is The Truth. Anyway, a big clean-up has occurred and fundamental leanings have at least quieted down for now. With Pluto in Capricorn, the sign of governments, from January 2008 to 2023, we will undergo a progressive clean-up of how governments operate. Let us hope and direct the focus of our intentions and actions towards creating a world where the government actually adheres to popular opinion and vote, and no longer makes laws backed by unscrupulous hidden powers without anyone really knowing about what is going on. This is a call for everyone to become more involved in the directions and choices of our civil servants also referred to as governmental leaders. The other big news this month is the Eclipse on September 11th. How apropos that it would occur on this day. Do you suppose that it will bring attention to the fateful day in New York? I wonder if the criminals who pulled off this heist, subsequently blaming it on terrorists, you know the Americans who take things into their own hands ‘for the collective good’ were looking down the road clearly enough to notice that a Total Solar Eclipse would occur a few years hence? Probably not, because these sorts operate on ego-will far more than upon cosmic law and divine will. Anyway, I am trusting that you reading this do not buy into the grand deception perpetuated by all the privately owned media across the land that 9/11 was actually an outside job. If you do, wake-up! To do so, stop watching the news because like history, it is written by those who want to tell you a story that meets with their perspectives and ambitions. The underground documentary called “Loose Change” is convincing enough to reveal at least that it was a scandal. Doing something and blaming it on others is one of the oldest tricks in the book. Children often do it to one another and probably always have. The other revolutionary flick that supports this position is called “Zeitgeist”. I would say this movie was well intentioned and does lend some credence to the 9/11 scandal; however, part one takes a position that Astrology was fabricated by priests who aim to control the masses. This is a gross oversimplification. It shows that while this angry person or group is onto something politically, they really have little or no understanding of metaphysics and how and why Astrology works. Perhaps priest crafts have controlled and manipulated people before and many still do, but this piece had more to do with the writers’ or producers’ own experiences and convictions associated with priest in their early years, or perhaps their parents did and made it clear how wounded and angry they were. Many people study things and gain facts and knowledge, but sadly many fewer people actually take the time to know their own nature, how they were conditioned and how their beliefs and perceptions are subjective. You may say perhaps I am biased because I practice Astrology. However, ask yourself or someone else who has had an Astrology reading if the information given was vague and could apply to anyone. No, Astrology is real and works and is not some fabrication as this politically angry source suggests. So, if you want to learn more about 9?11 consider watching Zeitgeist which is all over the net, but remember that part 1 is grossly in error. In fact, I began to wonder if the Illumnati, in all their guile, intrigue and reverse psychology, did not put out that movie themselves. Sure, get people mad at current political; scandals but source it to Astrology so that so called pure minds look to that as the source. If it works, then while everyone is turning away from Astrology, again, which is one of the most useful and powerful means of coming to objectively know oneself, create more distractions that make everyone forget about 9/11 but remember the evil source. If this sounds like too much of a Hollywood movie, ask yourself who owns Hollywood! Back to the Eclipse on September 11th 2007, here is a brief outline of what it suggests for us all, taken from my current Weekly Horoscope column: I have heard a lot of sensational claims about the current eclipses, perhaps partially because the Solar Eclipse occurs on September 11th commemorating the unscrupulous 9/11 scandal. Further, the 9th day of the 9th month of a 9 year (2007 when added = 9) is also getting attention and occurs in close proximity. This eclipse is from the Saros cycle 9 New South family which itself indicates powerful transformations, deep insights into human nature, remarkable realizations and awakenings linked to science, technology and agriculture; opportunities for new creative designs, a call to engage in some genuine soul-searching endeavours including the spiritual science of the heart and a general re-birthing of consciousness for humanity. I would add that a descent of higher powers or consciousness is coming in and this will lead people to think and investigate much more consciously. This boost of awareness, in turn, will be the beginning of revolutions both in consciousness and affecting the social-cultural-political sphere as well. Since the current Solar Eclipse is in Virgo which symbolizes holism, whole health, lifestyle and habits, ecology and environmentalism, recycling, digestion and proper assimilation of food and knowledge, critical and detailed analysis, right vocation, humility and service etcetera, these themes will be activated as well. Finally, the deeper themes include new levels of respect, cooperation and balance between men and women and, by association, a deepened appreciation of right brain experiential knowledge, intuition and the power of the subconscious to balance the excesses of left brain linear logical deductions and reductions. Tune-in to these themes and watch for the signs and opportunities to focus your light of awareness and spirit of contribution to our world which is in dire need for higher levels of intelligence, awareness and love. 4) Planetary Movements and Key Dates for September Mercury travels quickly and can make a lot of aspects in a month. Beginning at the late degrees of Virgo, Mercury then enters Libra on September 5th where it aims to think fairly and see all sides of a scenario etcetera and reaches out with diplomatic interests. Then on the 28th Mercury enters Scorpio which is excellent for research of all kinds and for gaining deep psychological insights. Mercury has been referred to as the Moon of the Sun which makes more sense astrologically than it might seem. Like the Moon, Mercury makes a lot of aspects and this is where I would like to remind you of the great value of learning to follow a Pocket Astrologer or an Astrological Calendar. These tools not only teach the rich archetypal language of Astrology, they also show you how to make practical use of it in your life. Clocks and calendars, both Astrological devices, are the backdrop of watching the cycles of the planets and the aspects they make allowing you to follow along at least with some ground knowledge – quite exciting especially when it comes to watching the moon and how some peoples moods – “lunar types” - change exactly when the Moon makes a new aspect. Venus is now and will continue to be a morning star as of late August and through to December. Since Venus remains close to the Earth it appears very bright in the North West skies just before sunrise. Venus is still retrograde and will be so until September 8th. Venus was in Virgo but due to the retrograde retreated back into Leo where she will remain for the rest of the month. On September 3rd Venus formed a sextile to Mars, which is pretty sexy. On the 21st she forms an opposition aspect (180 degrees) to Neptune in Aquarius. This will challenge people to keep romantic notions in check as emotions and affections will be strongly influenced by subconscious influences. Laziness and other escapist indulgences are the big culprits – could prove to be a good thing in our increasingly fast paced world. Mars is in Gemini until the end of the month. This is a very favourable sign for Mars and denotes an increase in energy levels. Short distance travel, communications of all kinds, social gatherings and the like are increased. It is an excellent position for students in the first month helping them to get a jump on their studies. Mars indicates assertion, action and expression of thoughts, feelings and ideas. In Gemini, Mars is also very sporty. On the 28th Mars enters cancer where it is more challenged yet excellent for clearing things up at home in preparation for deep autumn & winter. Jupiter continues to gallop gaily through its own sign of Sagittarius which it will do until mid December. Jupiter has an 11.86 year cycle so spends almost exactly a year in each sign – how “just” for the planet of law and justice. While Jupiter itself does not make any direct aspects to the other planets this month, the faster moving – Moon and Mercury will make aspects to the big one – Jupiter is larger than all the planets put together! This is why Jupiter inspires risk and faith and is the planet that says, so to speak, follow me and I will lead you to the treasure. This is generally true, however the biggest challenge with Jupiter is excess. When a planet is in its own sign it signifies a position of honour so make the best of it and tune-in to where your destiny wants to carry you to greater heights of awareness, knowledge and risk. 5) Sign/ Star Spotlight (This new addition to the line-up of categories will bring more attention to signs and planets offering insight for you better understanding). Virgo is the 6th Sign of the Zodiac and is a Mutable Earth Sign. Its traditional ruling planet is Mercury which it shares with Gemini. However, as Virgo is a detailed and intricate sign, it is also co-ruled by the maverick planetoid Chiron, and two of the four major Asteroids in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter and these are Ceres and Vesta. That makes Virgo the Zodiac Sign with four, or the most ‘planetary’ rulers in the Zodiac: Mercury, Chiron, Ceres and Vesta. This is a clue as to why Virgo is such a detailed, intelligent, sophisticated and complex sign. That it is also strongly influenced by Uranus and Aquarius is another key influence that even few Astrologers realize. Mercury is the communicator, Ceres is the caring mother, Vesta is dedicated to her cause and Chiron symbolizes wounds that need to be healed. That Chiron is currently in the sign of Aquarius which rules humanity, we get a strong hint at the underlying theme – healing of our perceptions, values and priorities. Virgo is the sign of holism and ecology, healthy living, daily habits, genuine service and humility. These core characteristics are very important themes for our times of unprecedented change, due largely to the impacts of science and technology. From the standpoint of the current state of the ecology, technology and of humanity – the human condition – we are in a dangerously close race between so-called progress and survival. This is a sad irony because science and technology has, does, and can contribute much to our collective quality of life. However, it seems apparent that as a new humanity emerges we will have to re-assess our business-as-usual attitudes because they are environmentally unsustainable, and the rift between wealth and poverty is increasing which is not good for anyone. In simple terms, our technology has exceeded the reach of our spiritual maturity and this is where Virgo comes in. Virgo is the sign of holism and ecology, healthy living, genuine service and humility. What do these words mean to you? It does not matter if your Sun Sign is Virgo or not. We are each comprised of all the signs as these are archetypes – the blue print structures of our psyche, even if the emphasis slants to other signs based on where the planets were at the time of birth. Each sign has something to teach us and the time for us to learn from the themes associated with Virgo is urgently upon us. Some Astrologers believe that we are in a mini Chiron Age. The suggestion points to the emerging New Paradigm of Holism in particular and of the urgency of cultivating humility in the face of nature’s fierce reprisals of our irresponsible technological exploitations. Humanity can, and needs to learn some very valuable and timely lessons from Virgo. With Saturn entering Virgo on September 2nd and both Jupiter and Pluto entering the other Earth Sign of Capricorn on December 18th and January 27th, 2008 respectively, we are on the verge of some big changes on both social and political levels. Given the signs of the times it is apparent that these changes will be associated with protecting the ecology. 6) Health Awareness I am currently doing a colon cleanse with the use of some very good herbs and a very effective recipe. The product I and my partner Shari are using is called Cola Vada 2, and is made and distributed by a company called Royal Body Care. I have used this product before and have found it to be the best cleanse in its category that I know of. It is a 14 cleanse, relatively easy to do and very effective. I say in ‘its category’ because there are all kinds of cleanses available of different durations. 14 days is enough for me and with the Sun in Virgo this is cleanse season as a means of boosting the immune system before fall and winter, the flu seasons. This cleanse can be done up to 4 times a year but I am not that keen. Twice perhaps is good for me, partially because I am mindful of what I eat. Not only do I aim for high nutrition and avoid sugar, wheat, dairy – keeping these at lower percentages of intake – I also aim to properly food combine and I take supplements as well. However, some of you might be that keen especially if you have never done a cleanse and are eager to reclaim your health. In this day and age, we are wise to take extra care of our health. Go and ask someone in their senior years if they are taking prescription medicine and you will find that most if not all are, and they are very expensive and many are forced to take a good deal of them. I believe that this is largely at least preventable and by taking supplements you also can enjoy greater health and vitality now, in addition to nurturing a constitution that will prevent disease and expensive pharmaceuticals later in life. Those of you who have been reading my Newsletter this summer are probably now aware of how much I have been promoting getting mercury amalgams removed from your mouth. Mercury is highly toxic and the fact that it is put in people’s mouths by dentists is both criminal and scandalous. In the links I provide and I will do so again, you will read how dentists early on in the game tried to stop this trend but were blocked by you know who; let’s just say those with a vested interest beyond wisdom and humanitarian interests. It is important for us all to understand that there is a lot of greed and corruption in our society and it has infiltrated our food and medicine, of course. Like a parasite it goes for the host. I am not saying the FDA does not do any good, but organized crime is very clever, shrewd and seductive and it has infiltrated our society, yet there are recourses that we can take. Consequently, we owe it to ourselves and the rest of the world and future generations to become more aware. If you have mercury amalgams in your mouth, intend to have them removed. If you choose to complain about how unfair it is due to the expense etcetera, you do so at your own risk and peril. Believe in your power to create what you need. Watch “The Secret” and apply its principles. If you feel its message is false, then you may be really on left brain tilt. (Read musings of an astrologer below). There is a good book called “the Secret Science of Huna” by Max Freedom Long which tells a very similar story of how The Secret works. Basically, co-creating your reality with your thoughts, focus, desires, visualizations, intentions, and affirmations and so on is an ancient form of elementary magic. Don’t be fooled by academic scepticism and sophistry, remember, the universities are privately owned…. Just do it! Take your busy mind objections and direct that energy to what you want and need and start with your health – get clear, focus, visualize! Since I have posted the links all about the mercury amalgam health crisis a few times now, I will not do so again and if you want to read them and I do encourage you to do so, please just go to UPDATES on my website and go into one of my recent Newsletters and scroll down to the Health section. I would like to make a few comments for the record on MLM’s and the products they produce and sell. For many years I have been interested in Multi Level Marketing largely because of the high quality products they make that you simply can’t find in retail stores, and also for the residual income and financial freedom they potentially imply. I have heard a lot of people express scepticism and cynicism about these companies. While I do think that some of these are warranted, I think that labelling them Pyramid schemes, for example, is completely outdated and is a misnomer. A pyramid is where someone owns the company and sits at the top like a king, like most privately owned companies. There is nothing wrong with this but there are some very big and powerful companies out there that hold a lot of influence and sway on everyone and this is where the problem begins. An MLM offers the opportunity for anyone to make at least if not more than the owners in some cases. My position stands to be unpopular with the two basic camps: those who simply dislike the very thought of an MLM based on their own experience, prejudice and/or bias and those who revolve their life around a certain company like a hockey team or religion or something. The products are usually of high quality, simple as that! Many products in the grocery store are lower quality, much lower, but because we are so used to our grocery store lifestyle, even if they are owned by other countries, we yield to unconscious habit and even defend it without taking a closer look. I am not that kind of person, I tak the time to investigate especially when it comes to perpetuating good health. Besides, take a good look around you and ask yourself if the average person is as healthy as they would like to be and could be with a recalibration of their priorities, perspectives and actions. This is where choice really counts. I do not buy into the religion of MLM’s. In other words, while someone might want to coach me why I should be ‘loyal’ to this or that company, which they do largely because of their focus on the business opportunity, I simply shop around looking for high quality products. My attitude is that if I get a residual from buying a product then great, but if not that’s O.K. too as long as the product is high quality. I imagine that what turns a lot people off of an MLM company is that: 1) it becomes a form of religion where loyalty to the brand and products is paramount. 2) People become obsessive at the prospect of making a lot of money and it influences how they approach friends and family and even new acquaintances. In other words their every moment is subtly guided by a sale and a new member of their down line. While I admit this can be exciting and is a strong objective, it is a turn off to many because the person is mildly tranced by their ambition. Admittedly, I have done charts for some people where it makes sense that they would be doing this sort of thing and there is certainly a commitment to being an effective ‘up-line’ person – it can require focus, time and energy and might be considered its own labour of love. That is what many who are committed this way will say, and I am sure there is truth in it. Anyway, while I have become excited about the products and prospects of income, I have always pursued my true passion which is assisting people by way of Astrology and the wisdom associated with it and helping people realize their selves more fully and their greater potential. I do not go into sales about products beyond offering the odd person a brochure whom I imagine might be interested or could benefit for some specific reason gleaned from our connection. Still, I would like to make the following point: I have signed up to a variety of MLM companies because I like their products. Sometimes I like one or two products in particular and sometimes I like them all. However, I am not into the religion of them, you know by focusing on a certain company at the expense of all the others just as I do not when I enter a grocery store Yet, I do place value upon the high quality products and so I am going to provide a list below of the MLM companies I have found have benefited me by way of their products. I will list the products I particularly like and provide my code or member #, as the case may be according to each company. I will encourage you to look into these products for the sake or improving and perpetuating your good health. You can choose to buy a product using my member # and I will not badger you to become a member. Should you choose to sign-up for the sake of the products, or the business opportunity or the discount you get as a member then great, thank you and congratulations. I am open to feedback and comments you may have about all this so please feel free to send them my way. If you are a distributor in some MLM company then you will be very excited about at least some of the products it makes and distributes, and I may well be interested in investigating it further. However, please do not see in me someone ‘you can work with’ in some strategic way to advance your business because I connect with a lot or people. I may investigate the company, try a product or two if I feel inclined and add to my list and even promote it by posting it with the others, but for now at least, that is all. I simply like high quality products that are health related. As a final comment, I would like to say that if you feel that you ‘cannot afford’ to be involved with several companies of this sort I challenge you to review your buying habits, priorities, perspectives. We all buy from many companies already. Often we do so by habit and as a matter of course. I notice that I have, and people do spend more money than they realize on products that are not so good for health – we have more money that we realize, all we have to do is take the time to realize it. Purchases of these sorts are more akin to investments – investments into deep and long-term health for the sake of high energy, clarity of mind and peace of mind knowing that we are building a deep and healthy constitution, much like a good gardener does with their soil. Remember, the elderly in particular support the pharmaceutical “mafia” and it is largely a question of when we are older, not if. I do not judge them at all, in fact I fell compassion and because they could not have known really how things would be; but we do…. When it comes to good priorities our health is at the top of the list or at least it should be. When we have good health and high levels of energy we also have greater confidence, clarity of mind, creative power and the platform for abundance, prosperity and a quality of life worthy of our life. If more of us take the time to review perspectives such as these, it is likely that we would shuffle our priorities and perspectives and become the change we long to see on our planet and in our world. Who knows, maybe others, like you for example, will see the advantages of buying great products from a variety of MLM companies and we will all assist each other to become healthier and wealthier. Conscious Planet is based right out of Burnaby BC (Vancouver). This is a family run business and Charles Holmes is the president of the company. Charles is integral and very committed to a vision of raising consciousness in general. You can read more through my link above, in particular the videos, and details on the products. One of the many features that makes this company stand out above others is they added a determining factor in their vision... “measuring the level of consciousness (LOC) of their products”. The Hemp powder, Shapeshift and Transform for shakes and smoothies is awesome. The hemp oil or Essentially Oil is delicious and, as I understand it, the most nutritional oil in the world! While the other products are great as well and although consumption of the products are often encouraged as a group, I particularly like “Genesis” which they claim is a liquid that contains zeolites and fulvic acid which cleans out heavy metals and, in this case particularly, it removes mercury from the body. Genesis is also a powerful antioxidant and is very energizing – and it is energizing! They claim that Genesis contains the highest light quotient of any food that is commercially available! If you have any questions, comments or input please send them along to me.” 7) Global Events As summer gives way to autumn and crop circle season gives way to hurricane season, we have yet more reasons to marvel at the rhythms, power and ‘intelligence’ of nature. Of course, many scientists who consider themselves realists yet who are actually materialists in disguise balk at the notion that nature is intelligent. Evolutionists ‘believe’ in the big bang and assert that everything in existence is subject to random selections and adaptations. The more alarming fact is that this mode of thinking is said to reflect intelligence and education. You know, logical, sceptical, and reductionistic. Fearful and conditioned by their education to ‘believe’ that this mode of thinking is objective is closer to the mark. The pendulum swings as is the case with all cycles. Yes, everything in creation is subject to cycles. I think everyone knows that, even children. You can read more about this perspective below in Musings…. While there are ever many events unfolding in the world, I would like to bring attention to some movies that I believe aptly reflect our times and are contributing to the changes we all need to see, whether we know it, like it or not. The first is Michael Moore’s “SICKO” which sends a strong message about how politicians, thinking from a budget perspective, align with businessmen who think from a profit perspective and then use the media to “win” in their ambitions. In simpler terms, it shows how the medical insurance companies (Health Management Organizations), in the U.S. have become incredibly wealthy while the good people of the United States suffer under one of the worst medical systems on the planet. This has probably much less to do with the capacity of the doctors in the hospitals to perform their skills and duties to care for their people, and much more to do with the slant and twist of the administrations who block and thwart the healing processes thanks to the greed and corruption of the insurance companies. I hear that some people do not like Michael Moore. I see in him someone who is courageous and clever enough to get some much needed attention in a country that the world once loved, to a country the world now despises, and it has little to do with the people and much to do with the corruption that runs the government, economic arena and educational institutions. The other movie that is making waves is the “11th Hour”, produced and narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio. I have not yet seen it but certainly intend to. Whatever the film quality of what the critics might say, congratulations Leonardo - may your actions set the pace for other celebrities with popularity and pull and the public mind to demonstrate their awareness and concern. Musings of an Astrologer Remember Copernicus, Galileo and Kepler? These men are historically responsible for ‘setting everyone straight’ of the fact that our planet Earth, just like all the planets, revolves around the Sun and that was just a few centuries ago. Of course, the ancients knew it all along, the Egyptians and Sumerians and Babylonians and Chinese and so on, they knew it but as the cycles of time and history and culture move we tend to forget these things. In fact, that these ancient cultures knew that the Sun is the center of the Solar System is just one of among many indications that history is not what we think it is. The history we generally accept is the one we were told by those who benefited from telling it the way they did. In fact, history is being re-written by many revolutionary and brilliant thinkers and researchers. That the school system has not yet fully acknowledged the findings is indicative that the old guard is still holding most of the cards. But the times are changing and it is likely that within the next several decades anyway, hopefully sooner, we will have a significantly revised interpretation which will result in contributing to the new era and paradigm that is now emerging. Yes, we will look back in history and recognize this period to be a renaissance. Imagine that, a renaissance! With all our environmental issues and blatant corruption pervading every aspect of our culture, we will actually call this time a renaissance or re-birth. Well, that is the way it goes on our dramatic little planet of many souls of varying soul ages. Back to the Sun as the center of the solar system, we know and accept it, as a matter of course. This is so because this is what and how we are taught. That the Earth orbits the Sun may well be true, but it is only a left brain truth because the right brain knows that the Sun and all the planets revolve around the Earth! This is so because the right brain interprets reality according to its experience, and not according to “facts”. Nonsense one might say. So, let me ask you have you actually ever experienced the earth orbiting the Sun? No, not exactly but you go on faith that the scientists are right. Many of these scientists have ultra left brain reasoning and are conditioned to think this way. They deem it objectivity. The fact is, our experiential right brain perception knows that the Sun and planets revolve around us here on Earth. Both systems are true from their own angles of perception. The Earth in the center is how Astrology charts are drawn and is one of the reasons many scientists disregard Astrology. Of course, many scientists refer to themselves as realists as well. Actually they are materialists more than they are realists. After all, if you want to get really picky and specific, the entire physical universe is a relative illusion and science itself has proven this to be true. E=MC2 means that energy manifests as matter and matter is energy. From this perspective, materiality is a myth itself. The hardness of the material world is only so from the vantage of common perceptions. It is relatively true that it is hard, but from higher dimensions and atomic levels it is much more spacious and fluid that it ‘appears’. We are living at a time when the left brain is ready to meet and join with the right brain once again. I suspect that the suspension of the right brain perception as fact and truth was a necessary process for the sake of our evolutionary journey. However, purely logical, left brain thinking is contrived and artificial. I refer to it as socialized to the max. We are a by-product of our society. Unfortunately, those who have been guiding society are not truly worthy of the task and our dirty, polluted, corrupt world is testimony to it. Out of this imbalance we have grown accustomed to think along the lines of the famous quote made by Rene Descartes, “I think therefore I am.” This is pure materialism. Consider the true alternative, “I am therefore I think”. Consider these examples. There are two basic types of people from this perspective: 1) Those who are a personality and who have a soul. 2) Those who are a soul and who have a personality. Put another way, you either are an ego or you have an ego. This shift of perception is perhaps the most significant and revolutionary principle that humanity is now challenged to embrace. Since the ego operates from fear and survival, so do those who pretend to be nobly leading humanity. The most significant aspect of successful counselling emerges when a person comes to clear realization and conviction that they are a soul first and foremost. Any counselling that does not begin with this premise is likely to help a person re-adapt to the dysfunctional society from which their problems are largely founded. As we understand, acknowledge and accept that we are soul first who have egos, then much of what was a problem quickly dissolves. The extra effort here is to come to a fuller appreciation of what “soul” is. This can be done both by way of gaining knowledge, that is the left brain side, and by seeking experiences that awaken the heart’s intelligence or intuition. Instinct by the way is not of the heart, it is of the body and is linked to fight or flight. The only problem with this shift of perception from being an ego to being a soul is that once people begin to realize it then the whole world will undergo a revolutionary transformation because the world is currently operating from ego. Eckart Tolle’s new book, “A New Earth” makes a fine contribution to helping us be aware of what the ego is and how it functions. Tolle and many others are heralding the emerging paradigm which will operate from a whole brain function mode of perception. If you are wondering at all why I am asserting these things it is because as an Astrologer who works with people virtually every day, I know for certain that all of the science and scientists that ‘believe’ that Astrology is unfounded are simply deluded by their own conditioning and pride. Again, the tricky part is that they are educated and conditioned to believe that their perspective is objective. This is a form of left brain tyranny. Further, the materialistic so-called powerful establishment supports their position and so life goes on with a steady flow of money going to scientific studies and the sort, presumably for the betterment of all. I well imagine that fewer and fewer agree with this smokescreen any longer. Incidentally, many of the assertion of science are founded upon the big bang theory. Theory is the right word because it never happened and there are some well educated scientists who assert this position, but that is another story. May I suggest for now that you simply set a clear intention and focus upon learning to think with your whole brain, the left logical linear and the right intuitive experiential.
