Horoscope for the week of September 12, 2008

Tip of the Week:

September is shaping up to be very eventful and memorable. Many would like to forget about 9/11 in New York now experiencing its 7th anniversary. Some would like many to forget about it, while others simply cannot and will not get it out of their minds.  A terrible act of terrorism or a sinister act of grand deception, these summarize the major questions that linger in the air long after the event, like pulverized cement dust. Tragic anniversaries aside, Jupiter is now Direct as of September 7th after 4 months of retrograde in the sign of Capricorn. This synchronized with the major economic slump this summer. The ripples and repercussions continue to be causing stress and confusion. When real estate prices rise as high as they did and then fall to as low again and lower in the course of a year, people begin to wonder why; they wake-up and begin asking questions. Anyway, just hours before Jupiter turned retrograde it formed a 90 degree square aspect to Mars in Libra. This aspect occurs about every 2 years. However, the whole planetary picture must always be taken into account. No two squares or any aspect are quite the same. With Jupiter in Capricorn, its sign of detriment and Mars in Libra where it is in its fall, the negative charge is increased. The better news includes Saturn forming a close trine aspect to Jupiter and Mercury in conjunction with Venus and Uranus and Neptune holding strong in a mutual reception - where each planet is in the other’s sign. This all suggests that while aggressions and ambitions are stampeding to meet the economic demand, creative ingenuity has been activated and necessity is giving birth to intuition, innovation and new skills and realizations. Still, some will be hit quite hard and this is a good time to be more empathic to the larger societal stress, for the sake of compassion of positive prayers. The Full Moon in Pisces on September 15th is the Harvest Moon at 22 Pisces 54 at 5:13 am PDT. Take a moment to pay it tribute and to call upon higher spiritual agencies to awaken us from the illusion of our separateness, the central issue of the human condition at this time; the source of human insanity and the consequent history of terror that we have come to believe is reality. May we learn to think with our hearts and feel with our minds… now!  

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

The game is a foot in a big way and you mean business. Artistic projects and perspectives are appealing. The waves are big and the steaks are high, and everybody knows. Now is a time to be disciplined and focused. Yet the opposite sex is having an extra big allure. Balance business and pleasure for success and satisfaction. The Full Moon stands to bring unexpected surprises to us all. These could prove very good for your career. It will also help you to know what you truly need.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)

Your powers are steadily rising now. You have had to work and this will continue. Many changes are at play, new scenes and styles. You are more impressed with color now than you are usually. Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

A spiritual consciousness is rising steadily in your being. It is giving you gifts of insight, realizations, epiphanies and liberation. Sometimes the healing energy can create a healing crisis. Upheaval either internally or externally could occur. On the other side of this current purge is the birth of new love. Focus on the positive to receive the gifts of the spirit! This requires gratitude to awaken vision and vice versa. Clear away distractions and confusions and set your sights on task at hand.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

Changes both inside and out close to home is a source of inspiration now. The changing season brings new casts of sunlight, late flowers in bloom and harvest on the vines and trees. Taking moments to notice is making magic to see. Nature is beautiful, powerful and fierce commanding deep appreciation and respect. Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

It is said that a person is just 5 people away from everyone. Who do you know? Sometimes the answer to this is more important than what do you know. Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

Like your Leo friends, the time is ripe to know who your friends are. For business, pleasure and life in general, friends make the journey worth the while. Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)
