Personal Insight Inspires Conscious Living

Probably the most common reason why a person consults an Astrologer is to gain personal insight. Personal insight is linked to what I refer to as the “primary relationship”. This is the relationship we each have with our self/ego and our SELF/soul. Ideally, people would be more interested in this initial responsibility we owe to ourselves, to others and to life in general. Sadly, the tendency to “project” which means see our own issues in others and then to react and blame them for it is a very common theme with all people. Alternatively, people are confused or simply unaware of their own personal nature and psychology. Another term for this confusion and lack of self-awareness is “sleeping”. The fact that we are asleep to certain facets of ourselves implies that we are unconscious even though we think we are awake and self-aware. This is a very old spiritual understanding. Enlightened souls recognize that most people are asleep, in this sense of the word. People who are more awake recognize that they and others are at least partially if not significantly asleep and those who are fully asleep believe that they are wide awake and that they see life and reality as it is.

Unfortunately, many of these people actually are in positions of power and authority. Such people believe they are responsible while others who are less ambitious or educated are not and then they commit crimes against humanity only to perpetuate their own and other people’s suffering. The simple psycho-spiritual fact is that most people do not see life as it is; rather they see it is they are. This statement implies conditioning. In an ideal world, leaders in any category would be committed to undergo authentic and extensive processes of becoming more awake and aware. This means that they would be very conscientious about it in the first place which would imply wisdom behind their claim for leadership as opposed to simply ambition. The point is that we are all responsible at inner levels to our own life, other people, society and life in general.

Issues aside, personal insight enhances our awareness of who we are, where we are coming from in terms of family and roots, where we are at now in our life, where we are going which implies destiny and what choices we can make now to best work with our own life journey more consciously.

Every Astrologer is an artist weaving their understanding, knowledge, skill, intuition, experience and heart as another human being intent upon helping a person be more aware of and to fulfill their destiny as successfully, harmoniously, passionately and peacefully as possible.
