Tip of the Week:

After 3 weeks of Retrograde motion, Mercury will Station and turn Direct on May 30^th at 6:22 pm PST. (*All Astrological technical terms are written with the first letter capitalized.) This will be a message of relief for many, especially those who are aware of or have been experiencing the negative side effects of its retrograde period. When Mercury first went Retrograde on May 6, it was in Gemini where its impact is generally much more positive than when it is in other Signs of the Zodiac. However, on May 13 it re-entered Taurus and has been there and moving further back into the Sign of the Bull even since. Taurus is a more difficult sign for Mercury Retrograde as it produces potential affects of financial worry, introversion, fixation, stubborn attitudes, self-importance and obsession. Of course, with awareness, it is very possible to make the best of any otherwise challenging influence. This is one of the greatest values of Astrology – to bring awareness and thereby assist people to make better choices by knowing how to work with the cycles and energy patterns at play. At best, Mercury Retrograde in Taurus signifies increased concentration powers and a greater determination to succeed. To know how Mercury is influencing any given person depends upon where it is positioned in their Astrology chart. Given that the Astrological Sign it is in is made available to you here, the deeper consideration is the placement by ‘House’ and Quadrant and the particular Aspects it may be making to Natal and Progressed planets.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

Communications, networking, expressing and exploring new ideas and angles is keeping you busy now. Demonstrating what you know and gaining confidence from it is a current theme. However, the challenge to be humble and to listen and learn from others will be apparent this week. Your power potential is rising yet there are many skills and lessons you must learn first. A growing rebelliousness finds you assertive, yet uncertain. Intend to keep an open mind; express and receive knowledge and ideas.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)

Your focus is strong to diversify and stimulate new interests and/or streams of income. A growing ambition amidst rebellion and confusion about your profession and other social roles may be a source of frustration. Yet, you feel bold and are willing to take calculated risks. Deciphering where and to whom to offer your allegiance is dancing in the back of your mind. You want it all and in some respects feel impatient while in others you realize the importance of patience. Trust your feelings.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

You are eager to assert yourself and take some key initiatives. Yet, many thoughts, memories and reflections may be distracting your focus. At best you feel meditative and may even touch upon the mystical. At worst, you feel like escaping or simply feel pulled by an array of thoughts and impressions. Changes are brewing and your intuitions are on to it. As much as these may be social shifts, above all it is you who is changing. Trust this process and advance with it.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

Tending to things behind the scenes, as you can, will work best and feel right now. From here you can nurture and gestate your dreams, goals and plans. You may want to sleep more, lose yourself in a book or simply be quieter. Intend to receive and record somehow incoming insights and ideas without the need to act upon them, yet. Weave the intention to share and cooperate in your efforts as many upcoming activities will require group efforts.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

Your individuality is shining out these days. However, you may have to be making extra efforts to be seen and heard, despite sincere efforts. This paradoxical twist of affairs will continue for a couple of weeks yet. To compensate, set your intentions to instruct and to be trained. The time has come to acquire new skills, methods and tools.  Trust in your existing skills and the success of past performances yet accept that life requires ongoing refinements and/or new experiences, angles and expressions.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

You are determined to be seen and heard now. Earned rewards, favours form authority figures, promotions and/or recognition are on your mind. You may feel as though you have earned it. However, your judgement may not be as strong as you might think now. At least others may not see things as you do and if this is the case you are wise to listen well. So do advance your position as you can but make efforts not to make assumptions as you will be judged by others accordingly.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Creating more harmony on relationship fronts remains a central theme. Making efforts to both see the big picture and to pay attention to the details and recognize the facts is especially important now. With so many changes occurring within you and beneath the surface, it may be a challenge to feel confident. Reassessing what is security and how to achieve it is a core aspect of the plot. Money and financial security is probably your top priority now and you are about to push harder to feel secure.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Among the themes associated with Scorpio, which include the deep and complex realities of sex, death and taxes, there is also psychology and healing. Of particular importance is cleaning, clearing and eliminating. This is a strong theme now. This may include breaking free of certain relationships and relationship patterns. On the other hand it includes habitual perceptions, attitudes and their consequent expressions and habits. Yes, pretty deep stuff and it begins with awareness and acceptance of the task.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Love interests or concerns are on your mind. You are willing to compromise but not settle. As much as you want answers you also want action. However, with so many things to consider it may difficult to decide, an issue of analysis paralysis. Yet, you long for happier times and are willing to do what it takes to realize some. Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Diversifying your interests and focus is keeping you busy. You may want to focus but can’t or you want more variety but may feel blocked or restricted right now.
