Tip of the Week:

Cancer is the sign of family, roots and ancestry. People with this sign strong in their Birth Chart will have strong notions, values and perceptions surrounding these themes. Of course, these themes are common to all people, but some will feel much more strongly about them and may not understand or appreciate or accept those who do not. Of course, how we perceive and interpret any theme is relative as there are many angles of perception to any life theme. Cancer is a very subjective sign and can therefore experience challenges understanding others. On the other hand, empathy is another strong theme associated with Cancer. Motherhood, nurturing, nursing and generally caring for others is linked to Cancer. Ruled by the Moon, cancer is also a sign of emotions. The ever changing face of the Moon is symbolic of the ever changing flow of emotions that we all experience, unless we are very solar and intellectual or otherwise out of tune with our emotions. This flow of emotion can be described as moody. Some people are very moody while others are not. Extreme moodiness indicates excessive lunar energy and a lack of changing moods indicates excessive solar energy. Lunar is basically a female theme and solar is male. Male and female, in this respect, should not be limited to gender as all people have male and female qualities. Balancing these qualities is an ideal that all people are wise to consider. When our male and female ‘sides’ are balanced and work together, creativity is born.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

Sometimes we hold our cards closer to our chest. We want more privacy and feel protective. Quiet ambitions are often behind such behaviours. As life is a game, it is natural to play this way sometimes. Yet, you also seek variety and stimulation now. Family and friend visits and quality time close to home as a way to get both. Fortunately, your overall energy levels will increase starting this week. This trend will continue through mid summer anyway. Count your blessings, you hand looks good!

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)

A curious and flirtatious mood prevails. You have been making steady progress on a variety of fronts. Your ambitions will remain high. You are entering an excellent period to be able and have the energy to get a lot done. Whatever work you can call play might rank high on everyone’s list. Sometimes, it is all about playing hard. All the while, desires to experience a deeper sense of security are lingering. For now, go for variety on all fronts.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

Building a stronger foundation of security is big on your mind. Perhaps it is mental, or emotional, or physical/material and spiritual security is very likely as well. Knowing what each is and how to achieve it is a wise first step. Make a list of four for each of the above; call them the four corners of each theme. With this objective you can begin to create all that you need. Clarity of intention, focus, feeling and celebration as though the request is already given is the ‘secret’ to success.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

Explorations both within and without are leading you down new pathways. Every new thought activates a new neuro-pathway, by the way. Our brain hungers for this and feeds on it, unless we live excessively in our emotions. Think about this for a moment. It takes courage to consider new possibilities in thought and deed. Fortunately, this is precisely what you are pushing to realize. Breathe deep through the fear, feel it if it comes up, then do it anyway.  Just don’t overdo it!

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

A busy time doing most of the work behind the scenes is highlighted in the planetary positions for you now. You are pushing to explore new territory somehow. Your career and social life is a central motivation. Your ambitions will continue to ride high all summer. Keeping a balance between work and play is a priority. You are gearing up to really bring some of your bigger dreams down to earth! You have much to say and want to be heard and you will be. But allow for peace and quiet as much as you can for now.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

Letting your individuality shine bright is not entirely your style. However, sometimes you are more animated than others and this may be one of them. So, some of your jokes are sharp and perhaps a bit dirty; the price you pay for making others giggle and snicker. But seriously, something big is brewing in you. If you are experiencing a steady build-up momentum in your life, then you are probably right on track. You will get more serious about this soon and it will continue all summer. Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

You power potential is rising steadily amidst disintegrations on other fronts. This may be a tricky time in your life as you transition form one reality to another. You have perhaps been pushing rather hard to secure your position for now anyway. This step by step, side to side process will continue all summer and even into October. Pace yourself and be patient with the process and don’t take it personally. Forces larger than you are playing a major role. Just be here now with patient focus, faith in the flow and gratitude.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Oh the possibilities…! Life is certainly guided by them, along with the probability. Having a keen sense of each is one of the greater achievements for us humans. O.K. so you have mixed blood and some is from off world. Same game! The time has come to reveal some more of your colors and stripes and perhaps some original DNA…. Respect yourself and believe in what you know and can and like to do and then simply follow through!

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Cleaning, clearing, purging are strong themes now. This may include forgiving and forgetting. Yes, you have to do both parts for it to work. Whatever is happening, make every effort to take full responsibility for your part. Since it is your movie, you play a leading role and are the producer and director as well, not the mention the set design and clean-up crew…. Life is busy so lighten the load whatever kind it may be. Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

‘How to make friends and influence people’ is the kind of theme that is active now. You are in the mood to take initiatives to reach out and say hello. Your focus may be rather pointed verses casual.
