Horoscope for the week starting July 31, 2009 Tip of the Week: Eclipse season continues and this weeks’ Full Moon is a Lunar Eclipse - the culmination of the Solar Eclipse on July 21st. People all over the orient especially were able to see the Solar Eclipse. The themes of this particular eclipse were all about needed reform. Since the path of the eclipse is where the effects are strongest, reforms of many kinds will likely occur or at least be seeded in the above mentioned region. The influence of this eclipse can last up to six months. But this week we will gain both a closer glimpse of the deeper implications of the New Moon/Solar Eclipse (always and only at a new Moon) and the effects of the Lunar Eclipse as well, which can only occur when the Moon is in its Full phase. The exact date and time is August 5 at 5:55 pm PDT, and the sign degree in the Tropical Zodiac is 13 Aquarius 43. So, anyone with planets at any where from 10 to 16 degrees Aquarius or any of the other Fixed Signs – Leo, Taurus and Scorpio especially will experience the influence. The advantage of knowing this offers the opportunity to tune-in and to consciously co-create a positive outcome. Such thinking is one of the deeper gifts among the many that conscious and integral Astrology offers. Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20) Balancing fun in the sun with home and family will become more apparent this week. Having more time for your own creative interests will increase. Variety and spontaneity will remain high. Yet the needs of others, especially close to home will take on added importance. You may experience more mood swings, yet you may also experience profound heart openings. Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21) Connecting with your creative core is a top priority now. Going within to draw out other angles of expression is likely. You want variety and are eager to identify the possibilities. The danger of spreading yourself too thin is active now. You may also want more than you have the time and energy to actually achieve. By trying new things and you will feel inspired and it will lift your spirits. Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21) Many new thoughts and ideas are playing in your mind. Pioneering assertions of late continue to take you into new territory. Your thoughts will turn to questions of security this week. This may stir fears if you let it. Instead, acknowledge the many resources and possibilities available to you. As you begin to turn your attention to the details, take note and perhaps outline a plan of positive action. Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22) Taking inventory of what you have and need is in focus. Acquiring new items may well find you making key investments. Financial considerations will rank high. You will feel ready to take a few risks and try new things. This is a good time to sample before you commit. Desires for love and pleasure are featured. With your sights set on achieving your desires, expect some creative solutions that satisfy. Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23) You should be exploring new territory these days. With your sights set on seeing a bigger picture, you may stray from home. However, the yearning to return to base will begin to grow this week. If this is not possible, make efforts to feel at home wherever you may be. With an ever expanding scope of new friends and allies, aim to take a deeper look at the reflections they are offering. To change the reflection, change the projection. Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22) Balancing an ambitious drive with desires to retreat will require some creative ideas and actions. The time is ripe to gather new tools and skills.
