Jupiter Conjunct Uranus at 0 Aries – June 8, 2010

On June 8, 2010 Jupiter will form the first of 3 conjunction aspects with Uranus.  The first one stands to be the most potent of the 3 largely because it occurs at 0 degrees of Aries.  Here is the chart.

Zero Aries is a very powerful point in Astrology. It may be said to the Cardinal point of all the cardinal signs – the great king of fire! This exact point is symbolic of the burst of sunlight at dawn and of the meeting point of alpha and omega, or the irruption of a volcano, or the starting point of a compass drawn circle. There are many more possible illustrations of this powerful point of new beginnings. Due to the planets involved it indicates some sort of massive ignition activating a big (Jupiter) and sudden & unexpected (Uranus) process. As ever in Astrology, the effects of planets in transit tends to vary with people, cities, nations and companies or any other ‘person’ in the eyes of the law. Basically, the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Aries indicates a brand new cycle and because the conjunction (symbolic of New Moon and Winter Solstice) occurs at 0 Aries, it may be seen to be a rare and extra important and potent seed event.

Upon closer examination, I was surprised to discover that there was actually a conjunction of the same two planets and the last of the 3 occurred at the same degree, 0 Aries on January 25, 1928. Here is the chart.

The first one took place on July 15 1927 while Uranus was retrograde.

The second of the 3 conjunctions occurred on August 11, 1927 while both planets were retrograde. Here is that chart.

When considering multiple aspects, the ‘first contact’ officially activates the cycle. The ones in between the first and last can basically be said to indicate the complexity of the plot. The last aspect indicates the tone that will color the remainder of the cycle. So, in 1927-28, the first two were aspects at 3 Aries were potent enough but not nearly so much as the one at 0 Aries and that is the one that left the final mark, so to speak, coloring the cycle to its completion in May of 1941 – the year that WWII really got underway. So it might be safely said that the conjunctions in 1927-28 set the stage for WWII.

The only other such conjunction of these two planets at this potent degree occurred in 588 CE or just shy of 1500 years ago. I will not try to weave that one into the focus here.

But, it is worth briefly commenting on the 1928 conjunction. I would first like to remind readers that a conjunction is a ‘seed aspect’ or event. That means it is simply the beginning of a cycle and when we are considering Jupiter conjunct Uranus the duration of the cycle is approximately 13-15 years before the next conjunction, depending on the retrograde patterns of the respective planets. When we add 1928 + 13 we get 1941. It need not be overstated how pivotal and powerful those years were. Topping the list was The Great Depression, The financial take over of the Federal Reserve – considered by many to by one of if not the biggest fraud/heist in history and, of course, the beginning of the deepest segment of WWII. Now I am not saying this will definitely be a repeat. In fact it may prove to be just the opposite. The reason I say this is because just as with the triple conjunction of this series of these two powerful planets, the same was true in 1928. However, the main difference was that back then all the aspects were in Aries and the last one at 0 degrees Aries.

In this instance, the first conjunction is at 0 Aries, which might say something for the summer of 2010 slated to be dramatic and powerful. But the final two aspects at the late degrees of Pisces lends a much softer theme. The first of these occurs on September 19 2010 while both planets are retrograde. 

Here is the chart. The next and final aspect between Jupiter and Uranus occurs on Janaury 4, 2011. This is also a very important chart because it indcates the tone of the entire cyclic process which will linger over the course of the next dozen or so years. Here is the chart.

 Aries is the sign of assertion, action, aggression, even war. We should see some real action and at least powerful initiatives occurring now in the lead-up to this aspect and over the course of the summer due to the inital conjunction in Aries on June 8.  Pisces is the sign of spirituality, meditation, compassion and mysticism…. So the tone of the final aspect, if this theory is correct, will prove to usher in choices and actions that will lead to spiritual activities and reforms and awakenings and so on verses the aggressive themes of Aries as we certainly witnessed 70 years ago. At best, we will see a significant increase in the communion of minds and hopefully mass peaceful collaborations to take action to dissolve (Pisces) many of the laws and institutions that continue to hold the world ransom. Prnciple among these institutions would be the Federal Reserve, for example, which holds sway of  private controlling interests in the guise of a democratic institution. As mentioned, the establishment of it might be seen to represent the signle greatest heist in human history and at least in North Amerca. Most people are not aware of this but the tide is turning and leaders like Ron Paul are good examples of the awakening that is underway. Barack Obama also represents such leadership and may well prove to gain victories based on awakening the masses to some of the mass deceptions that continue unchecked yet which are leading us to increasing bondage and crisis on many levels. Michael Moore's Capitalism: A Love Story and his other documentaries also can be seen to represent the signs of this awakening from mass deception. So, the Jupiter conjunction with Uranus is symbolic of a great hope and a turning of the tides. Since free will ever remains a factor in the game of life, we must make use of ours and make good of this opportunity. We can do so by becoming more aware and now is certainly a good time to do so. We can also choose to live our lives more authentically and that is very much what I aim to help people achieve in my work and it works.
