December 5 – 11, 2025
Tip of the Week:
The last Full Moon of the year, in Gemini on December 4, is in the spotlight now. With Mercury still in Scorpio, there remains an internal pull and an added air of mystery and intrigue on the airwaves.
Positively, Sun and Mars and now Venus too all in Sagittarius, add enthusiasm and verve to the overall mood, and Pluto in Aquarius is inspiring spirit of illumination.
Jupiter in Cancer adds to the buoyancy of the tone, and Neptune in Pisces contributes to the mystique.
Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Pisces, meanwhile, could be deemed dampeners, yet their positions do indicate social opportunities.
Neptune turns direct on December 10, still in its own ruling sign of Pisces, (where it has slowly moved through since April 3, 2011, in the early waxing light of the New Moon in Aries, which was the central feature of a six-planet stellium all closely huddled together in the sign of the pioneering ram). It does not come as a surprise that the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement was festering and burst into flame while the Sun was in Leo that year. Positively, Neptune in Pisces has synchronized with a steadily emerging mode of spirituality that can be accurately referred to as spiritual science.
So, things are generally peaceful in this last month of the year and the Winter Solstice, the ‘natural New Year’. Of course, every case must ever be assessed on its own ground, and many people are invariably suffering the world over. While not a new story, it is sad that much suffering is caused by unchecked greed, division, and indifference between people. These factors constitute fundamental issues within the human condition. When asked: what is it in the world that perpetuates the suffering? True spiritual teachers commonly assert that the main issue is the human ego.
The spiritual perspective on all of this is that life happens ‘for’ and not ‘to’ us. This perspective might seem idealistic in light of difficult experiences, especially those that manifest as pain, suffering and death, or unwanted endings. Yet, the more we enter into victim mode and shift out of gratitude (for the opportunity to participate in the drama of life, at all), or least acceptance, the more we suffer. There is a meeting of philosophy and psychology, its ‘child’, in this statement.
This is where a deeper appreciation of the soul comes to the fore. The literal translation of psychology is ‘study of the soul’. But the focus of psychology has degenerated into removing the soul from the equation, emphasizing the conscious and subconscious, but without a direct emphasis on the soul. This can be understood as the main challenge of modern psychology; to resurrect the emphasis on the soul. To the extent that it does not, it can be deemed inauthentic.
By removing the soul from the focus, the emphasis of psychology has shifted to the ego personality and away from the deeper realities of the mind. The notion that the brain equates to the mind is yet another casualty. So, where the higher emphasis is a conscious acknowledgement that our personality body is a vehicle of the soul, the shift has been to inflate the ego, that state of mind alone where notions of the soul become obscure, uncertain, and altogether dismissed. Yet, the higher awareness is that our ego-personality is the ‘vehicle’ for experiencing life in the physical, and positively includes orientations to health, happiness and fulfillment.
To the extent that we are ego-centric, attached and fearful, the tendency is to feel deeply victimized by life, and therefore people often experience life through one form of neurosis or perpetuated trauma or another, and often multiple traumas. The instinctive reaction to these fears and traumas is to reactively resist the purposeful, evolutionary flow, as though our life depends upon resisting, which equates to a life of survival as opposed to one of living. Ironically, while deemed natural, as opposed to merely common, it is this reaction to resist, as an effort to survive, which is our enemy.
On a global scale, the aspiration to survive as a species is among our greatest threats, which is the greatest irony of all. Many crimes against humanity are justified by this protracted reaction. With the advances of modern science, and in association with the materialistic paradigm upon which it rests, currently, the world is plagued by mad scientists who cause great harm with their narrow notions of what constitutes the ‘solutions’. Of course, these ‘solutions’ are usually guided and funded by those people and networks invested in power and control above all. This basically describes the human condition.
The entire topic is complex, yet important. The solution is not to dismiss science altogether. However, what needs to be reconsidered is the paradigm of materialism upon which it rests. It truly is the silent evil on the planet because it is directly associated with inflating the ego, and round and round it goes. It should be noted that materialism is not the healthy respect for the physical body and the physical world, nor a negation of the visceral and sensual experiences and pleasures of life.
No. Materialism is the notion that life is random, arbitrary, and without any deeper purpose, a complex web of chance all ‘miraculously organized into intricate design and order’ but is otherwise bereft of any deeper purpose, and it dismisses the notion of an intelligent source. By extension, materialism upholds the survival instinct above all and tends to manifest as undue attachment to power, and usually specifically for the purposes of control.
That Astrology works, and it does indeed, even at the level of a Horoscope, reveals that we live in a conscious, intelligent, creative, intentional, purposeful, cooperative and loving universe. In the simpler sense, the universe is consciousness itself made manifest. All the proof is there, such as demonstrated with ‘Messages From Water’ or Cymatics, but our modern education system systematically teaches people to be materialistic in their perceptions.
While the basis of this paradigm of perception is deemed to be based on irrefutable facts, it is actually based on beliefs, which powerfully influence our perceptions, interpretations, and subsequently our attitudes. In short, materialism equates to egocentrism, and so our modern world, currently, has the largest collective ego than ever before in recorded history, and unless we awaken to this conundrum, we could well annihilate ourselves by desperate orientation to survive, or create a social system of extreme control, rationalized by notions of ‘the greater good’.
Astrology works on the basis of the paradigm of holism. In turn, it is based on the realization that not only the entire manifest universe, but even multiple dimensions within or behind it, are all features of the same whole, constituting a grand continuum. Again, the fact that mere Horoscopes ‘work’ contributes to the proof of it.
Astrology can be understood to be a metaphysical science. Mainstream science refers to it as a ‘pseudo-science’ due to the limitations of the materialistic paradigm upon which it rests, thereby exerting a position of authority and control. How Astrology works is directly associated with the reality of multidimensionality, which mainstream science has begun to recognize and, in some cases, reluctantly acknowledge.
The paradigm of holism reveals that we do not simply ‘have’ consciousness, and we do not only ‘live in’ consciousness, but that a feature of it, but that we are consciousness made manifest. Some assert that this consciousness is energy, but this is not entirely true either. Energy is associated with physics. That energy is a feature of consciousness, not the other way around, is where things get interesting.
Consciousness can be better described as mind, and more specifically, as Divine Mind. In turn, this all-pervasive mind, or consciousness, finds its source in spirit, which transcends both energy and mind. The word ‘spirit’ refers to source ‘intelligence’, but more accurate terms include omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence, all of which are features of the deeper definitions of holism.
Astrology does not work on the basis of cosmic energies, as is commonly assumed. These equate to physics. Astrology works on the basis of Divine Mind, which is associated with primordial principles, commonly referred to as archetypes, which in their more essential expression, can be described as sacred geometrical shapes.
Archetypes can be further understood as a source code ‘for’ the manifest universe, thus can be accurately understood as the blueprint behind the manifest universe. To be extra clear, they are not an expression of existence, they are the blueprint ‘behind’ it. That this source code finds its origins in divine light emitted as sound, is the cross-cultural, esoteric wisdom teaching of the ages. The way this has been described is ‘in the beginning was the ‘word’, aka, the ‘SOUNDS’…, which are the source of the archetypes, but these sounds are ‘loaded’ with divine intention to produce the blueprint of divine design.
The entire manifest universe, and everything and everyone ‘in it’ is therefore the expression of this divine design, intent and purpose. If this sounds ‘fantastic’, consider that the alternative is that the entirety of existence is the consequence of random chance. This is the traditional position of mainstream science. As one wise teacher said, “the only thing more impossible than God, is that there is no God”. What God is, is another question. The basic answer is that ‘it is…’ and is not merely a man. Esoteric wisdom and modern science will both agree, that it is a fairytale based on metaphors taken literally.
These insights are features of the Holistic Paradigm, which extends to more scientific notions of the Holographic Universe. If you have ever wondered how mere Horoscopes work at all, you now have the gist of it. Learning to observe the synchronicities in association with the cycle of the Moon (Lunation Cycle) for example, offers a more experiential process and is supported by observation, which is further supported by knowledge that is relatively easy to learn, because it is based on natural realities. Beyond knowledge and conviction alone, you can learn to work with this most common of cycles for practical purposes, as is true of the insights and guidance obtained from Horoscopes.
Have a great week.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)
A pioneering and sporting mood should be enough to be uplifting your spirits. Although still retrograde, which brings an element of doubt to the otherwise boost of confidence from Jupiter’s placement in Cancer, you are feeling uplifted and willing to make the extra efforts to engage your reality with creative determination.
Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)
The Sun in Sagittarius, the Centaur (Chiron), and currently including Mars and Venus, constitute a complex blend with your Taurus Sun. The result could feel like the plight of the mythic Minotaur, destined to dwell in the labyrinth, which equates to the lower mind. The main lesson of the Minotaur myth revolves around themes of courage, sacrifice, and the struggle against one’s inner demons.
Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
Sagittarius is having a party in your relationship zone, Sun, Mars, and Venus are there, and Mercury and Moon too are on their way. Late arrivals or not, the mood is already hot. How can you resist this euphoric spirit destined to uplift you? The Full Moon in your sign is contributing its own special magic to the mix, full of wit and armed with a bag of tricks!
Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22)
The rising Sagittarius tide is amplifying your resolve to do whatever it takes to rise above prior patterns. This includes giving to the process as much as you can. With Jupiter in your sign, this is an expansive time in your life. Yet, this cannot occur if you remain bound by the past. Affirm your resolve to identify what you need to let go of and leave behind.
Leo (Jul 22 – Aug 23)
Sagittarius is the wild sign of the Zodiac, symbolic of the remote and vast tracts of wilderness that still constitute the greater margin of the world. It is calling you to be bold and adventurous, to enter new and unknown territory, literally and/or figuratively. Your main task is to decipher what this means and implies and to envision your approach.
Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)
This week’s Gemini Full Moon will have an impact on your career and social status in general. The basic influence of the Moon, especially when it is full, is change. It marks a time when we need to assess whether certain people or situations genuinely align with our sense of individuality and what we feel we want, need, and truly value.
Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 22)
The culminating influence of the Scorpio New Moon, combined with the Sun, Mars, and Venus in Sagittarius, and now the Full Moon in Gemini, are all contributing to a yearning for change, liberation, and renewal. Your very beliefs and associated slant of perceptions are changing. In short, you want to feel better, and the time has come to take more deliberate measures.
Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)
If slowly, you are surely orienting to enter new territory. While it is not about the money, per se’, the money matters too. Your focus is sharp, and yet you also want to proceed creatively, strategically. You might need a realistic plan to support your vision. Thinking big will probably work better than taking a conservative approach. Look as far down the road as you can.
Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 21)
Sun, Mars, Venus, and Mercury, and the Moon soon, are all gracing your sign. This signifies an impulse to advance in the synchronicity flow of your circumstances. With Jupiter in Cancer, you are destined to receive karmic returns, for better or worse, and sometimes it is a mix of both. Saturn and Neptune in late Pisces are contributing by cleaning up any messes.
Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)
An inward draw could feel strong, and this trend will continue. Hardly passive, it is riddled with purpose. At best, it is activating you to lay claim to your core sense of authenticity. Yet, it must first clear away any illusions, delusions, denials, or disruptive beliefs, or social conditioning that has been like an uninvited visitor that has long overstayed its visit.
Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 19)
The strong Sagittarius influence is destined to shake your world with new truths and realities. It need not be dramatic or painful, and it could even prove refreshing and liberating. Yet, it remains that a leap of faith is part of this destined process. The aspiration to new knowledge and new dreams too, is all part of the plot, coming in early 2026.
Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)
Your public and professional world is changing now. An expansion or promotion is indicated. At worst, you feel a little lost currently. However, if you can tune in, you will realize that you are simply in a fog patch that will begin to clear this week. It will likely take a couple more weeks to clear, but a new sense of adventure and purpose is destined to begin now.
