People who might be especially interested in this course are those who are particularly sensitive to the Moon. In Astrology, such a person is recognized as a “Lunar type” as opposed to a Solar type of person. It is safe to say that our society is very solar-type oriented and perhaps unbalanced as a consequence of this excess.
Solar Types – These people are generally very rational, linear, logical, fact-oriented, astute to outer details, scientific, engineering, objective, assertive, extroverted and proactive, expressive, task-oriented, deflective, and invulnerable, and emotionally stable, etc. At worst, Solar Types can prove rigid, stark, fixed, matter-of-fact, unempathetic, callous, and narcissistic.
Lunar Types – These people are generally very imaginative, non-linear, empathic, feelings or emotions-oriented, psychic regarding other people’s thoughts, feelings and emotional state, artistic introverted, quiet, shy, reactive, reflective, nurturing, vulnerable, and moody, etc. At worst, Lunar Types can prove emotionally unstable, reactively moody, over-imaginative, highly impressionable, self-absorbed, self-pitying and manipulative.
Soli-Lunar Types – These two types can be described as ‘ends of the pole’, or extreme versions of the many shades of grey in-between. It might be recognized that the balance point between these two poles is ideal and can be achieved, or at least the extremes can be countered with the support of awareness that is at least an indirect feature of and advantage of participating in the Moon Cycle Club.
