The day has arrived for the rare and historic event of Saturn conjunct Neptune at 0 Aries in the Tropical Zodiac on February 20, 2026.
For any two planets to form a conjunction at 0 Aries, the exact start-point of the Zodiac, let alone two far planets, and specifically Saturn and Neptune, is RARE.
The last time this event specifically occurred for these two planets to be exactly conjunct, not just close like last summer, but literally exactly conjunct, predates recorded history. This is not hyperbole! The year was 4,361 BCE, yes, 6,387 years ago, and coincided with the Neolithic Revolution.
While in Aries last summer, Saturn and Neptune came within just 13 minutes of exactitude by mid-July 2025 (there are 60 minutes in a degree), BUT they did not form an exact conjunction. This close but not exact factor can be described as ‘almost getting pregnant’… So, when they do finally conjoin on February 20, 2026, the activation will prove much more… definite.
That the conjunction occurs in the Universal 1-Year that 2026 constitutes, and just over 3 days after the Solar Eclipse, (or just shy of 77 hours later), are also significant contributing factors.
The fact that the Moon is also in Aries on the day of the conjunction is significant.
The Moon enters Aries at 7:38:53 pm GMT on Thursday, February 19, and will first form a conjunction with Saturn at 8:47:48 pm GMT and then with Neptune at 8:54:53 pm GMT on February 19. Yes, just 7 minutes and 5 seconds later (according to my Astrology program Solar Fire – other sources may be a second or 2 different.)
The main point is that the Moon acts like a fuse when it comes to the exact moment of an event, down to the seconds. So, it can be said that the fuse will be lit at 8:47:48 pm GMT February 19, 2026, and the actual conjunction between Saturn and Neptune will occur at on February 20, 2026, at 4:53:29 pm GMT (or 20 hrs, 5 minutes and 17 seconds prior to exactitude of the rare and powerful conjunction).
Given the extreme rarity of this event, it merits such emphasis. Intellectual information aside, use this knowledge to be aware and perhaps to observe any synchronicities that might make sense. I will be doing so and will welcome any other observations and will share these sometime soon after.

The most recent event that even remotely approximates the significance of this conjunction was that of Jupiter and Saturn, which formed a conjunction at 0 Aquarius on December 21, 2020. Other relatively recent significant conjunctions include Jupiter conjunct Neptune in Pisces in 2022. I also made a video about it, which you can watch HERE.
While Saturn and Neptune were in Pisces, many spiritual and mystical realizations emerged, and upon reflection will be recognized as a mini spiritual renaissance. While the evolutionary process of Physics and Metaphysics or material science and spiritual science re-merging after a few centuries of cold rejection has already begun, it is accelerating, and this conjunction at 0 Aries will continue to contribute greatly to it.
While these higher realizations were and are still probably not even remotely recognized and certainly not understood or appreciated by the greater majority of the population, they have sufficiently taken root for the 100th Monkey principle to be activated. And with both Saturn and Neptune now in Aries, whatever is destined to be activated will prove much more visible and noticeably impactful over the coming months and years.
I have been highlighting major themes associated with this powerful aspect that is now upon us since late 2025, and even earlier due to the magnitude of their implications. In terms of its deeper symbolic significance, 0 Aries can be understood as the Monad, the Singularity, the source point, or the portal to source. It is where physics and metaphysics meet. In terms of physics, it is symbolic of the quintessential ignition of the concept of the Big Bang. More than the exactitude of a Total Solar Eclipse, 0 Aries is akin to the exact moment of conception when a specific sperm fertilizes the egg.
In the most mystical or paradoxical sense, the deeper symbolic significance of 0 Aries is that it is omnipresent. In other words, like Aether, which has been described as the omnipresent animating principle that exists at every dimensional level, 0 Aries can be said to exist within every atom and even within the subatomic ‘particles’ too. This is so because 0 Aries is not a thing, not simply a star or occupying a specific location, it is a principle which again refers to that of the Monad. To understand it, one has to transcend any notion of a material factor, even at the subtlest level, which generally refers to archetypal principles, or the consciousness of source within the blueprint. Yet, 0 Aries like the Monad is more fully the source principle or IDEA within or behind, or at the root of existence prior to not only the manifest universe itself even at the subtlest levels, but the very source of the PLAN within the blueprint. This might seem fantastic to some, but then any who sincerely endeavor to intellectually grasp the inner meaning of the Monad will understand.
Astrology is not a science, it is an “archetypal language” based on these primordial principles and 0 Aries symbolically refers to them. The reason why Spring Equinox has been chosen to represent International Astrology Day is because it is symbolic of the rising sun to begin a new day, and even more essentially, the first moment when the Sun on the horizon reveals the very ‘tip’ of its apparent circular disc-shape producing what can be described as a spark that initiates the remaining process of the Sun’s ascension out of night into day. Beyond phenomenology, one has to think symbolically and archetypally to understand the IDEA behind the event to fully appreciate it. Yet, in terms of phenomenal events, a conjunction of planets at 0 Aries, especially when they are far planets, which significantly increases the rarity of it, thus ‘sparking’ or activating a whole new stage and cycle of evolutionary activity. That is what is happening now with the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune at 0 Aries. It is true that the duration of the cycle is comprised of thousands of years, and it will host many sub-cycles within it. Yet, at a personal levels and even collectively, the synchronistic manifestations should begin right away. That these will be a feature of one’s deeper destiny is also important to understand and adds to the value of gaining such deeper insight and understanding, and I can help you to do so.
Further, the reason why the Conjunction aspect in Astrology is deemed the most powerful of all is because it is directly, symbolically associated with 0 Aries, which is also the origin point for all the 12 astrological aspects. These examples should be enough to illustrate the symbolic and literal or eventful significance of 0 Aries. But there is more.
Wherever 0 Aries is by House in a person’s Birth Chart is where they are destined to undergo associated themes of new beginnings, and what can be described as a form of reset.
It should also be noted that since both Saturn and Neptune already entered Aries, before turning retrograde and re-entering Pisces all in 2025, some of these changes will have already been activated in the lives of most people. However, this rare and powerful conjunction will at least re-ignite the fuse that was perhaps doused by the retrograde back into watery Pisces.
So, with Saturn and Neptune conjunct at this degree for the first official time in recorded history, many people will be undergoing significant activations leading to destined actions, choices and changes.
These will occur at both collective and individual levels. Whether these will be experienced as positive, negative, or somewhere in between must be determined by considerations of one’s Birth Chart as a whole. This is also true at collective as well as individual levels, because every country, province, state, territory, city, and any other legal entity like a business, corporation, or any other, each has an Astrology chart based on the exact date, time and place it was ‘birthed’ into legal existence. Determining the exact birth moment for such large ‘legal entities can prove complex, yet it does exist and whether or not a chart has been officially calculated.
In terms of the possible impact of Saturn and Neptune together on February 20 for any given individual person or legal entity, among the main factors is whether other planets or angles are close to this degree by aspect, which planets or angles, and by what aspect and how close to exactitude. Especially planets and angles in the early degrees of any sign to about 3 degrees into the sign will experience the activations of change starting by the end of this month and into March and through to June even.
More specifically, anyone with any planets or angles at 0 degrees of any sign, but especially for Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, the activation will occur quite immediately. Determining the specific implications of these changes would require a careful assessment of the Birth Chart and the destined influence of other current cycles.
In the wider, general sense, the twist regarding Saturn and Neptune conjunct in Aries and then each respectively transiting through it is that this combination of planets can be deemed antithetical. This was also true while both were in Pisces, when Saturn, symbolic of structure, disintegrates, yet Neptune there inspires and reveals sublime realities.
Alternatively, Saturn in Aries is generally stronger than Neptune, yet since Aries, where Saturn is deemed to be in ‘detriment’, which generally means it is challenged to set a clear course. Determining what constitutes ‘a path with heart’ often requires some measure of soul-searching. In turn, deciphering what hidden gifts and/or purpose of destiny must be identified and then obtained becomes the first major feature of this challenge. Then, what it requires is courage to confront fears associated with entering the unknown. This is likely to manifest as identifying and laying claim to latent and perhaps hidden gifts, talents, skills and strengths. As well, the call could be to self-reinvention. So, laying claim to any or all of the above, or doing what feels necessary, implies courage, willpower, and determination, and can be described as the hero’s journey.
Neptune in Aries is complicated because where Aries tends to be grounded and at least decisive enough to be more clear and focused, Neptune can be described as ephemeral, elusive, wistful, and generally ungrounded. From the standpoint of the Natural Zodiac, where 0 Aries is the start-point and which influences us all collectively, contending with a rather prolonged period of disintegration based on Neptune’s 13+ year cycle will likely prove to be the bigger challenge. The disintegration process will likely be associated with prior norms, self-expressions, expectations and assumptions regarding social realities, which could, therefore, prove challenging for us all.
As mentioned in the above-linked articles, the last time Neptune entered Aries was 1862, (subject to its 164-year cycle), and it synchronized with the American Revolution. Positively, it contributed to abolishing slavery on a global scale.
The added factor this time is that the re-entry includes a conjunction between Neptune and Saturn. Thus, it can be surmised that we are collectively entering unknown territory in a big way.
The rapid rise of AI is probably the best example of this, and it includes the rise also of the shift from significant amounts of human labor shifting to automation, as we see with the cashiers at grocery and department stores, and to robots, with the likes of Amazon taking a strong lead, and many others will follow, if out of necessity.
Naturally, the synchronicities of these large-scale events, revealing the revolution of evolution, can seem harsh and intimidating. Yet, change is the law, and it has to happen somehow and when circumstances with deep and wide influences are featured, the associated events producing change are large to a commensurate degree. Also, if one were to examine these time periods more fully, they would also observe positive themes. At a personal level, the law of change is also involved, yet circumstances can be more directly influenced by free will choices, the co-creative factor, within the context of their deeper destiny, and which can prove very positive indeed.
The following are some examples of synchronicities associated with Saturn conjunct Neptune, which occurs every 35 years.

The last time Saturn and Neptune were conjunct, at all, which is symbolic of disintegrations of some kind and replaced by whole new beginnings, (or what can be described as major turning point in history), was in 1989 while in Capricorn, the sign of structures, frames and walls and it synchronized exactly will the ‘Fall of the Berlin Wall”, which changed the world forever with social, political and economic implications the impact of which continues to this day.

Prior to that, Saturn and Neptune formed a conjunction in 1952 at 22 Libra, the sign of relationships, and the Birth Control Pill was being developed after public announcements not long before.

On August 1, 1917, Saturn formed a conjunction with Neptune at 4 Leo 16. In 1917, significant events included the Russian Revolution, which led to the overthrow of Tsar Nicholas II after centuries of Romanov rule, and the rise of the Bolsheviks led by Vladimir Lenin, leading to the Russian Civil War, and the United States broke diplomatic ties with Germany and entered World War I
These examples, given their implications and the repercussions of which continue to this day, should suffice to illustrate the potency of Saturn/Neptune conjunctions alone, let alone at the 0 degree of Aries.
In terms of larger or mass social themes of influence, if you read through those linked articles, you will also learn that the last time Saturn and Neptune formed a conjunction in Aries at all was Spring 1703, which marked the founding of St Petersburg in Russia, the beginning of the construction of Buckingham Palace in England, Johann Sebastian Bach composed his first Cantata at the age of 18, and most significantly, the War of the Spanish Succession which involved major European powers and altered the balance of power in Europe, the outcome of which established Britain as a primary commercial power, impacting global trade and politics, subsequently leading to Britain becoming recognized as an empire.
That conjunction in 1703 occurred at 11 Aries, which is significant enough, but that this one on February 20, 2026 will occur at 0 Aries is colossal, and even that description is modest.
Over the centuries and millennia, there have been some other key conjunctions in Aries and even though not at 0 Aries, such events always prove to be very significant in terms of major new developments. There is more that can be said about this significant event, but it should be clear that it is a rare and powerful activation. Since the last time it occurred synchronized with the Neolithic Revolution, it is probably safe to assume that it will prove to be a major turning point that future historians will perhaps regard as ‘The Great Reset’. Of course, things take time to evolve. However, since it is coinciding with the sunrise of the Age of Aquarius, which is symbolic of sudden and unexpected change, we are wise to prepare for the unexpected. Saying it is much easier than doing it.
So, get ready for these changes as much as you can, at least mentally and emotionally, because the rocket of this Universal 1-Year is underway and it is lifting off the launch pad as we speak.
It is worth considering that what is happening is much less a matter of who is involved and much more fully a reality of that it is destined to occur.
Even the most elementary reflection on human history reveals that change is the law and resistance is futile. Yet, the specifics of this destiny are subject to our free will and co-creative powers, yet the probabilities of the gameboard are large.
The question we each are wise to ask ourselves includes the following:

Are my orientations to make such choices in alignment with my own destiny, or am I simply reacting out of fear of change and shaken expectations and assumptions?
