A historic and powerful Saturn-Neptune conjunction at zero degrees Aries occurs on February 20, 2026, indicating a new beginning for mankind.
The last time Saturn and Neptune were conjunct at 0 Aries was 4361 BCE!
The following ‘walk back in time’ offers some examples of synchronicity of major beginnings and turning points in human history associated with the far planets forming conjunctions in Aries according to the Tropical Zodiac.
Zero (0) degrees Aries, specifically, the alpha degree or start point of the Zodiac Wheel, is symbolic of the primordial expression of the Monad and the Logos, and also of sunrise, and it is the root source of all aspects, with the conjunction itself constituting a direct expression of the power of creation, birth and new beginnings in general. These factors together contribute to why the conjunction is deemed the most powerful of all the aspects. Even far planets transiting through Aries will manifest as significant initiatives, as will far planet conjunctions in any sign, especially Cardinal Signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.
Yet the focus here is just on far planet conjunctions in Aries to illustrate the point of the synchronicity at play.
On February 26, 1869, Jupiter formed a conjunction with Neptune at 15 Aries 35, and in that year the Suez Canal was inaugurated, linking the Mediterranean Sea with the Red Sea,significantly boosting global trade by providing a shorter and safer route between Europe and Asia, reducing travel distances by several thousand miles.
Between June 26, 1850, and Jun 3, 1851, conjunctions between Uranus, Pluto and Saturn and Mars in the late degrees of Aries occurred and coincided with the Compromise of 1850–1851 was a package of five separate bills passed by the United States Congress in September 1850 that temporarily defused tensions between slave and free states during the years leading up to the American Civil War.
In February 1845, Jupiter formed a conjunction with Uranus at 3 Aries, and in the same year, a uniform date for Federal Elections in the United States helped standardize the election process across all states, reducing confusion and potential manipulation that arose from states holding elections on different days. This change ensured that all states appointed their presidential electors on the same day, which aimed to create a fairer and more consistent electoral system.
Between mid-May 1761 and mid-March 1762, a triple conjunction between Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus began with Saturn and Uranus conjunct from 7 to 11 degrees Aries. In 1761-1762, significant events included the British capture of Havana from Spain during the Seven Years’ War and the signing of the Treaty of Paris, which ended the war and resulted in Britain gaining substantial territories in North America and the Caribbean. This period marked a shift in global power dynamics, establishing Britain as a dominant force.
Between May 21, 1702, and March 30, 1703, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune were closely aligned in Aries, forming a series of conjunctions from about 6 to 11 degrees. In 1702, Anne became Queen of England, Scotland, and Ireland following the death of King William III, began her reign as the last Stuart monarch. Her reign, which lasted until 1714, was marked by the War of the Spanish Succession and significant political changes, including the unification of England and Scotland into Great Britain in 1707.
On March 11, 1679, a rare triple conjunction including Jupiter, Uranus and Chiron occurred at 10-11 Aries. That year, the Habeas Corpus Act was passed in England, which strengthened the legal protection against unlawful imprisonment. This act was significant in safeguarding individual liberties and ensuring that a person could not be held without being brought before a court.
On March 27, 1596, Jupiter and Uranus formed a conjunction at 14 Aries 27. By April 14, Jupiter then formed a conjunction with Pluto at 18 Aries 54. Although later that year Uranus now was close to conjunct Pluto, due to both planets turning retrograde, the conjunction only occurred on May 2, 1597, yet it was a rare quadruple conjunction including Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Pluto at 20 Aries, and by June 11, 1597, Mars arrived in time to form a rare triple conjunction with Uranus and Pluto at 21 Aries. That year saw the publication of “De Humani Corporis Fabrica” by Andreas Vesalius, which advanced the understanding of human anatomy, and the establishment of the first scientific societies that fostered collaboration among scholars. These events contributed to the shift towards modern scientific inquiry during the Renaissance.
In 1584, there was a triple conjunction including Pluto, Jupiter and Mercury on March 9 in at 6 Aries 02. That year, In 1584, a significant turning point in the Renaissance and science was marked by the publication of “De Magnete” by William Gilbert, which laid the groundwork for the study of magnetism and electricity. This event was reinforced by a conjunction of Pluto and Saturn in Aries on March 16, 1585. Pluto co-rules Scorpio which is regarded as the sign most inclined to skepticism. This period also saw the continued challenge to classical scientific doctrines, as thinkers began to question established views and explore new ideas in various scientific fields. The Renaissance period saw a gradual questioning of Aristotelian and Ptolemaic views of the universe. By 1584, thinkers were increasingly exploring new ideas in astronomy and physics., encouraging a move towards observation and experimentation, laying the groundwork for modern scientific methods. Meanwhile, also in 1584, Giordano Bruno was active in promoting ideas that challenged traditional views of the universe, advocating for a heliocentric model and the infinite universe, which were significant for the scientific revolution.
In 1533, there was a rare conjunction between Mars and Neptune at 0 Aries. Although the near planets making such close alignments at 0 Aries is not entirely rare, the fact that Neptune is involved and that the conjunction occurred at 0 Aries does make is quite rare and unique indeed. No surprisingly, In 1533, a significant spiritual development was the annulment of King Henry VIII’s marriage to Catherine of Aragon, which allowed him to marry Anne Boleyn. This event marked a crucial step in the English Reformation, leading to the establishment of the Church of England and the king’s declaration as its supreme head, breaking away from the authority of the Pope.
In April 1370, there was a rare conjunction between Jupiter and Neptune at 0 Aries. Most significantly, Pope Gregory XI became the Pope and was the last to reside in Avignon, France, where the papacy had been located for nearly 70 years, restoring the traditional seat of the papacy, reinforcing its historical and spiritual significance. And encouraged a revival of art and culture, as the papacy became a patron of artists and architects, influencing the Renaissance.
In early 1044 AD, there was a rare conjunction of Neptune and Chiron at 0 Aries. That year, The Chinese military treatise of the Wujing Zongyao is written and compiled by scholars. It is the first book in history to include formulas for gunpowder, and its use for various bombs and it also describes the double-piston pump flamethrower and a thermoremanence compass. (It is noteworthy the mythology of Chiron includes the karma he suffered because he dipped his arrows into poison to facilitate success hunting and his student Hercules subsequently, accidentally shoots one into his foot causing injury he was not to recover from lending to the deeper themes of karmic repercussion and the ‘wounded healer’ principle which requires the paradoxical notion of healing others of the same wound one has as the only way to heal it.)
In 919 BC, there was a rare quadruple conjunction including the Sun, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune at 8 Aries. This time aligns with King Jeroboam 1 of the northern Kingdom of Israel after a revolt against Solomon’s son, Rehoboam. Leading to the division of the united monarchy of Israel becoming Israel and Judah and effectively equates to the Lost 10 Tribes of Israel. after they were exiled by the Assyrians and largely assimilated into other populations, leading to their historical disappearance.
It is noteworthy that Saturn conjunct Neptune at 2 Aries 06 in 594 BC. That year, Solon was appointed as Archon of Athens, where he implemented significant democratic reforms and established the Ecclesia, the principal assembly of Athenian democracy. This period marked important changes in governance and social structure in ancient Athens.
In 1742 BC, yes almost 2800 years ago, Saturn and Neptune were both closely aligned at 0 Aries, even though the actual conjunction was technically at 29 Pisces 52, which can be deemed conjunct 0 Aries. During this time, significant events in ancient Mesopotamia include the ongoing decline of the Sumerian civilization and the rise of the Babylonian state under the Amorite dynasty. This period marked a transition from city-states to a more centralized territorial state, with notable rulers like Hammurabi emerging later.
In mid-April 2065 BCE, there was a rare conjunction between the Sun, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto at 10 Aries. At about this time, the Egyptians discovered the use of Papyrus, effectively giving rise to the first writing on paper, in the form of scrolls.
In 2561 BCE Neptune formed a rare conjunction with Pluto at 1 Aries 31. Interestingly, this is the year that mainstream historians determined the completion of the Great Pyramid. It is also the approximate time when Solstices and Equinoxes were officially determined in China.
In 3213 BCE there was a conjunction between Saturn and Neptune at 5 Aries 34. Among the most significant events was the unification of ancient Egypt, which laid the foundation for its Dynastic period which lasted for 3000 years.
In 3536 BCE there was a rare triple conjunction between Saturn, Neptune and Mars at 14 Aries shortly after Spring Equinox. Significant events include the ‘beginnings’ (Aries) of proto-writing in Sumer, marking a transition towards writing
In 3706 BCE Jupiter and Neptune formed a conjunction at 4 Aries. Gold, silver and copper smelting marked the early stages of the Bronze Age (yet which is more officially determined to be about 3000 BC). The Jewish or Hebrew calendar, dates back to 3761 BCE, which is considered the year of creation according to Jewish tradition.
In 4519 BCE there was a conjunction between Uranus and Neptune at 15 Aries. Falling within the Neolithic period, this time saw significant advancements in human society and is characterized by the beginnings (Aries) of agriculture and the establishment of permanent settlements, including the domestication of plants and animals.
The last time Saturn and Neptune were conjunct at 0 Aries, was 4361 BCE.
…and it was the third of 3 conjunctions, the two previous technically occurring at 1 Aries. The first two occurring in July and October 4362 BCE. There are no specific historical records detailing events from 4361 BC, as this period falls within prehistory, before the advent of written records. However, it is generally understood that this time was part of the Neolithic Revolution, characterized by the transition from nomadic lifestyles to settled agricultural communities.
In late May 4690 BCE, Jupiter formed a conjunction with Neptune at 29 Pisces with Uranus at 0 Aries. Less that a week later, with Neptune still at 29 Pisces, Jupiter formed a conjunction to Uranus at 0 Aries. During this approximate time, the Ancient Egyptians had created a calendar consisting of 360 days with 12 divisions of 30 degrees each, which constitutes the foundation of the Zodiac or ‘Wheel of Life”. Still During the 5th millennium BCE, the Egyptians adjusted their calendar to 365.25 days. Thus this powerful triple conjunction series can be associated with this beginning, which continues as a central feature of human civilization to this day.
What is significant about this fact is that the 12-division calendar and the 30-degree segments for each amount to a complete circle of 360 degrees and predates the constellations by centuries at least, perhaps millennia.
