Aquarius and Pisces, the 11th and 12th Signs, are strong in this Solar Eclipse chart – indicating that its impact is destined to be worldwide and will trigger the collective mind.
Uranus, the ruling planet for Aquarius (which is the Sign of the Sun/Moon conjunction of this Eclipse), already adds potency. The fact that Uranus is forming a close applying square to the Sun is indicative of an impulsive and determined attitude and approach, which at worst could prove radical and reckless. The exact degree of Uranus is associated with Cardinal Aries and Capricorn, symbolic of dynamic action, and adds to the driving power of it.
Unaspected Mars at 19 Aquarius 41 is the dispositor of both Sun and Moon, which means their energy transfers directly to it. Unaspected planets are sometimes referred to as ‘wild cards’ and tend to be guided by their own internal compass, and do not integrate well with others or society in general. However, this should not be deemed a negative factor, per se’. In other words, the purpose of this Solar Eclipse can be regarded as transpersonal. So, while this does not excuse unscrupulous behaviours and actions, the ensuing global events over the next 6 months, especially, can be regarded as features of this overall process of change.
The exact degree of Venus and the Lunar North Node is also associated with Mercury, which again is also in Pisces, and forming a close, inspiring Trine aspect to Jupiter, which is in Cancer, where it is exalted, or tends to operate optimally. On its own, Mercury in Pisces can prove to be imaginative and dreamy, unrealistic and overly idealistic, and in the Decant of Cancer can prove even more emotional and irrational yet. Pisces is ruled by Neptune, which is in Aries and closely conjunct Saturn and is poised to form the historic conjunction at 0 Aries on February 20, 2026. The fact that Aries is also Cardinal further adds to the theme of dynamic initiative and action.
On a final note, Pluto in Aquarius, positioned as the ‘cutting planet’ in the Bowl configuration of the Solar Eclipse chart, adds to its already potent contribution. By its degree, it is associated with Neptune-ruled Pisces, which brings the focus, full circle, to its epic and magnitude and virtually unprecedented, destined role at this time in human history.
