Pluto’s second of three ingresses in Aquarius occurs on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

Interestingly, just hours before making this grand second entry, the Sun and Pluto form an exact conjunction at the 29th degree of Capricorn activating a cycle that will continue for exactly 1 year, when the next cycles between Sun and Pluto occur at the first degree of Aquarius on January 20, 2025!

So, this is the BIG news now and many predictions are flooding the airwaves ranging from the most egregious to lofty notions of a new dawn for humanity sweeping the world. Both ends of the poles are likely to be true, but one thing is certain, it is most likely to be a very revolutionary two decades through to 2044 when Pluto enters Pisces.

Pluto did enter Aquarius already in March 2023, and is again for the second time on January 20, and will be there until September 1, 2024, when it will once again re-enter back into Capricorn and hover at the critical 29th degree for 2.5 months! Then, finally, it will enter for the third and last time and begin the official long haul through Aquarius – the Water Bearer, the Master Number 11 sign position in the Zodiac, on November 19, 2024, with the Sun in the late degrees of Scorpio…

Pluto’s entry into Aquarius coincides with an era of transformation for humanity. How it will impact you personally can be revealed with an Astrology Reading.

Watch this video to learn the finer details of the triple ingress process of Pluto entering Aquarius and retreating back into Capricorn, between March 23, 2023, and November 19, 2024.

Here is a more detailed breakdown of the triple ingress process of Pluto entering Aquarius.

The first of 3 ingresses was at 12:14 PM, GMT on March 23, 2023. It then turned retrograde on May 2 and re-entered Capricorn for the first of 2 re-entries. Now, Pluto will enter Aquarius less than 12 hours after the Sun on January 20, 2024. Pluto will advance to 2 Aquarius 03 by May 2 when it again turns retrograde and will travel backward until on September 1, it re-enters Capricorn for the 2nd and last time. As destiny has it, the modern ruling planet for Aquarius, Uranus, turns direct after several months of retrograde itself, on that very same day! There is more to say about this significant fact, but it is not the main focus now. By October 11, Pluto’s annual retrograde cycle ends, and on November 1, it will enter Aquarius, not to return for 232 years when on October 4, 2255, it will enter Capricorn’s castle to transform the governments of the world once again.

Summary of the First Ingress of Pluto in Aquarius – March 23, 2023

What is more significant about the first ingress on March 23, 2023, is the fact that Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, and Chiron were all in the pioneering sign of new beginnings, Aries. The ruling planet for Aries – Mars, meanwhile, was at the critical 29th degree of Gemini.

Any planet at 29 degrees in an event chart, such as a Birth Chart or when a planet enters a new sign or a conjunction of two planets…, indicates some kind of theme of overcoming, specifically associated with the sign the planet is in. Mars in Gemini conceals in its layers both Taurus and Aquarius, which are Fixed Modality Signs symbolic of the steady and consistent follow-through phases after the initiation phase that precedes it.

Due to the ‘twin’ themes associated with Gemini, this implies that there will likely be something of a standoff between the forces that want to push for change and those that want to resist it and those who side with governmental authorities, and those who believe that governments have assumed a posture of masters serving the interests of hidden elite, as opposed to genuinely attending to the needs of the greater collective. Of course, this is a very old story, the age-old plot of the human drama.

Also, at the moment Pluto entered Aquarius on March 23, Venus was in Taurus conjunct the Lunar North Node, and Uranus was also in Taurus, and unaspected. Unaspected planets can be understood as ‘wild card’ factors that either imply awkwardness regarding social integration or can manifest as offering something unique and possibly special. Yet, whether the result of this maverick posture manifests as fame or infamy is the question and it is often something of a combination of both.

Interestingly, Uranus was at the 16th degree of Taurus which offers it a boost of power. Mars at 29 Gemini lends some support to it, yet includes the complexity of insecurities regarding entering the unknown linked to Mercury in Aries. The Moon in Aries tends to manifest as an instinctual reaction linked to fight, flight, freeze, or the higher path which is a state of surrender that awakens intuition. Yet, it remains that contending with the inevitable stress is important. Venus in this chart is the most obvious saving grace as it is in its own ruling sign of Taurus. Yet, it too was specially positioned to manifest as dramatic attitudes and actions.

In hindsight, both the ongoing war in Ukraine and then the tragic new episode of violent conflict between Israel and Palestine were among the more significant synchronicities. While there are others, the assault on private farmers especially in Europe that continues to rage on, is symbolic of other angles of this overall theme. The major events and evolutionary turning points implied can be metaphorically compared to the laborious and painful process of giving birth.

The Second Ingress of Pluto in Aquarius on January 20, 2024

The most outstanding fact regarding this second of three Ingresses of Pluto in Aquarius is that it does so just hours after the Sun enters Aquarius. While this does constitute a conjunction, the technical fact is that the exact conjunction occurred at the 29th degree of Capricorn. Again, this degree of arduous overcoming is associated with the sign of Governments and established authorities and institutions struggling to maintain order in the wake of the revolutionary impulse that is sure to occur over the course of 2024 and beyond.

Yet, it is the time period between now and September 1, 2024, while Pluto is still in Aquarius that is the main focus at this time.

In this regard, 2024 is bound to be revolutionary and tumultuous.

The stages will likely be many and more widespread than last year. Growing suspicions of compromised government officials will ramp up, especially if and when they support restrictive policies that reveal more control than genuinely beneficial directions for the wider populations of the world. As ever, where these dynamics will play out is subject to the various destinies of nations. One thing is certain, at least the first half of 2024 will prove revolutionary, but it will probably spill over into summer and fall as well.

The final ingress of Pluto into Aquarius on November 19 does so during Scorpio time and the Sun in Scorpio holds the position of highest degree. The chart cast for this third and final ingress is more complex than the previous two.

Regarding the relevance of the ingress charts, it is a subject of debate or at least of observation over time to see how they will manifest. I am inclined to believe that they will each occupy 1/3 portions of the overall 20-year time frame. So, phase 1 includes the powerful, pioneering impulses of Aries. Then, the next major level of revolutionary impact as indicated by this ingress occurring on January 20, 2024, will largely manifest from 2031 through 2037. Then, the final 3rd will occur from then to 2044 when Pluto enters Pisces, and it stands to be the most difficult of the three phases. However, as ever, such statements are relative because our subjective experiences are our reality, and this refers to a broader emphasis on revolutionary, evolutionary processes.

Interestingly, the addition of the numbers in the date: 11/19/2024 adds to 20, which is the number associated with seeing the bigger picture. Yet, if added another way, as with literally adding 11 + 19 + 2024, the result is 2054, which when added = 11. Both of these formulas are valid and relevant and are features of the same ‘constellation of numbers’. 11 is the prime Master Number and as wonderful as that sounds, it can also be understood as ‘a number to be mastered’. In other words, it requires extra effort to do so. On the high side, 11 equates to the balancing of the right and left brain to create higher levels of creative thinking.

So, these insights are just the beginning of a much longer perspective on this powerful transit of Pluto through Aquarius. On a final note, however, it can be accurately understood as the final birthing process of the Age of Aquarius.

Up until now, it can be said that humanity as a whole has been ‘pregnant’ with it and there have been pre-birth pains indeed. In alignment with this metaphorical perspective, it may be said that these began most noticeably with WWI and the resultant creation of the League of Nations, which has evolved to become the United Nations, which remains in its very early stages, as well. So, now with these ingresses, we can say that the ‘water has broken’ and it will lead us to the final phase, as with the ‘delivery room’, which will transpire over the remaining years of this decade, especially.
