March 13 was the birthday of the discovery of the planet Uranus.
The deeper implications of the planet Uranus and the sign that it rules (Aquarius), along with the implications of the discovery chart that goes with it (Mach 13, 1781) offer relevant and important insights for our times. They refer to themes of revolution that certainly occurred in the wake of the discovery (243 years ago), but in the bigger picture, that was not as long a time ago as it may seem in terms of the scope of historical time periods.
The revolutionary themes that it represents not only continue to this day, but even more importantly in certain ways currently than they were back then. This implication speaks to not simply the themes of democracy, rights, freedoms, and liberty for individuals, but the deeper spiritual implications of who and what we are, which refers to our soul nature.
Its discovery coincided with the Age of Enlightenment followed by the scientific revolution, but that ‘enlightenment’ was interpreted in a very materialistic way, and it is that interpretation that really is at the root of the problems of our times.
This video will shed some light on these themes.
